Concrete paving comes in a wide range of sizes and colours, ranging from marshals, or brad-stone concrete riven paving, with effects of natural stone right through to wood effect paving and the standard 2+2 slabs.
All our concrete paving slabs are installed on the correct sub base with full motor beds (not dot & dab) with full haunch boarders. For the joints, we use polymers and resins not the standard motor joints.
Laid and installed correctly this type of paving will last for many years, so we are able to offer you our 10 year Trojan guarantee

Natural paving eg; Indian stone, slate, York stone and marble will weather very slowly over a long period of time . Concrete paving as in marshals, brad stone ect will weather more quickly because it is concrete and they will lose their colour over time. You will be able to see the aggregate coming through as well. At trojan driveways and paving we only use the highest quality paving possible.
No. it's usually the stuff that grows on the paving like algae and moss ect that causes a slippery surface.
No. Pattern imprinted concrete is formed from ready mix concrete which is delivered to the work area and sets in a period of time, where as concrete paving comes in pre packed slabs of different sizes, and then laid individually on a full motor bed.
If installed correctly slabbed paving will not crack, heave or move.
Virtually. all our concrete paving is laid on full mortar beds and we use the latest polymers and resins between the joints and are far less likely to get weeds In between the joints than the traditional sand and cement mortar which will crack and shrink over time.
Yes, There are quite a few ways that driveway companies can and will cut corners. Many driveway contractors still use the dot and dab method and will install your drive path or patio this way to save time and money. Another way of cutting corners is not digging to the right depths. Both of these methods will lead to only one thing; your paving will fail, move, heave or even crack overtime.
Yes. Over time they will naturally loose their colour, fade and slowly start to expose the aggregate with in the slab.
